KIDS DIG DIRT

Each year, the children of North Salem Nursery School eagerly plant a variety of crops, including snap peas, peppers, carrots, lettuce, and more. This hands-on experience not only teaches them valuable lessons about gardening and the environment, but it also instills a sense of responsibility and teamwork. As they watch their plants grow, the children develop an appreciation for where food comes from, and they learn the importance of nurturing the earth.
