 North Salem Nursery School has been helping grow young members of our community for over forty years. Preschool years are critical for physical, intellectual and emotional growth. North Salem Nursery School has been absolutely amazing for my children. Both of my daughters participated in the full week 3's program. We are so impressed by high level of organization, curriculum, enthusiasm and care that teachers Mrs. Reba and Mrs. Reyes bring into the classroom each day. We would recommend NSNS to anyone looking to give their children an opportunity to develop academically and personally. We am so fortunate for this program. This was the perfect way to transition our girls from at home to entering public schools at North Salem. Specifically, some of my favorite aspects of their schooling experience include seeing all the arts/crafts projects done at school, being welcomed into the building for school performances and receiving monthly emails of all that the children are learning. North Salem Nursery School will always hold a special place in our family's hearts.

“We absolutely love North Salem Nursery School! The teachers at NSNS are simply second to none. Atticus is in Ms. Reba’s 3s class, and we can feel how much love and attention all of the teachers give to the students. It’s a small class and pre-school program. NSNS has a family feel, where every child and family (and extended family) is well known and loved. I went to a similar pre-school and my husband went to NSNS over 40 years ago, and that magic is at NSNS today!

There is a dedication to the kids and the community that you can see is in the fabric of the NSNS way. And then there is the education itself. We’ve seen Atticus’s knowledge just blossom! "Thank you for a wonderful year for both Edward and for us. I already knew from my own attendance 30 years ago that there's no better place in the world than North Salem Nursery School to place our children - no better place to introduce them to the fun of learning. I knew Edward would flourish there.  It was the unexpected friendships though that I made with the other parents that gave me a real sense of community. I'm excited for all the friends we'll have in Edward's classes all throughout Pequenakonck. "North Salem Nursery School has really changed how I feel about early childhood education. I wasn't happy with my choices for my eldest daughter, and when I brought my second child to NSNS, we were awed by the caring wonderful nature of the teachers. Their curriculum is magical, and both my children are so excited for school that they run up the hill to go to school, barely giving me a kiss good-bye. My fourth child will start next year, and we couldn't be happier! I'm pretty sure, he already thinks he goes there. "What more can you say about a place that feels like family? That the academics and kindergarten preparation are great too! We are amazed with Kieran’s math and language skills, and how he has grown socially.
